About

established in 2009

Careful listening has become an innovative strategy, one that breaks the norm of how wealth management firms traditionally operate.

Since 2009,  our wealth advisory philosophy has been the guiding compass of every step we take, as our goal is to deliver confidence and retirement independence to our many clients in the Carolinas and beyond. Our approach is simple; listen to our client’s needs first – their goals, their future vision; and fully grasp their risk tolerance.

The personal, genuine approach our firm brings to the table best defines our loyal client relationships. Our time and effort are spent getting to know our clients in order to truly understand what is important to them, what they hope to accomplish in their lifetime, and the legacy they want to leave behind.

- David & Mike

Our firm opened for business in 2009. Prior to this, David Bowman worked as an engineer and senior manager for large construction contractors from 1989-2004, and for five years after that, he worked for a large, regional brokerage firm. When that firm merged with a large bank, it opened a window of opportunity for David to open his own practice. The ten plus years of experience David has in the investment profession, coupled with his business experience, provides our firm with a vast array of knowledge from which to draw upon when analyzing our clients’ situations. Conveniently located in the fastest growing region in York County, we are positioned to help families and business owners throughout the region.

We know investing in the market can be risky. Investing in your future shouldn’t be. Manage and grow your wealth with confidence, knowledge, progressive thinking, and the most appropriate risk tolerance for you. Let us design a portfolio with your dreams and ambitions in mind. The greatest risk is not planning for the years ahead. We’re here to guide you.

Wealth Management Team

David Bowman

Through academics and strong leadership experience, David has made it his mission to stay on the leading edge of the wealth management industry. As an LPL Financial Advisor dedicated to serving York County from his office near Fort Mill and Tega Cay, David’s experience as a wealth advisor is rooted in his designation as an Accredited Asset Management Specialist from the College of Financial Planning (2004) and as a recipient of the Outstanding Leadership Award by the Leadership York County Class of York County’s Regional Chamber of Commerce (2006).

For David, listening closely to a client is the critical first step in developing any financial strategy. After gaining a complete understanding of his clients’ goals, he deploys a myriad of products and tools to customize an asset management plan that will get them to the future they want. Among them, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) that help to achieve proper asset allocation and diversification, which are cornerstone principles of David’s investment philosophy. Whether a client needs estate planning, education funding, or a dream vacation home, David understands how to combine reliable market analysis with innovative investment strategies to help his clients pursue their goals. David is a 1988 graduate of Clemson University where he earned an Electrical Engineering degree. In 2004, after many successful years in the construction contracting business, David changed careers to the financial sector, joining A.G. Edwards and Sons. When A.G. Edwards merged with Wachovia in 2009, David capitalized on the opportunity to independently serve his clients as a Wealth Management Advisor under LPL Financial.

An investment in Exchange Traded Funds (ETF), structured as a mutual fund or unit investment trust, involves the risk of losing money and should be considered as part of an overall program, not a complete investment program. An investment in ETFs involves additional risks such as not diversified, price volatility, competitive industry pressure, international political and economic developments, possible trading halts, and index tracking errors. Asset allocation does not ensure a profit or protect against a loss. There is no guarantee that a diversified portfolio will enhance overall returns or outperform a non-diversified portfolio. Diversification does not protect against market risk.
